VisualEditor is enabled by default for new users. If it’s not enabled, go to Preferences, click Editing, check Enable the visual editor, and click Save. You can use the sandbox for testing VisualEditor.
About VisualEditor[edit]
VisualEditor is a tool developed by the Wikimedia Foundation that allows users to edit pages visually, without needing to know wikitext or code. It simplifies editing and aims to make contributing to TestWiki easier, especially for new editors.
Limitations[edit]
- Not available in talk or certain other namespaces.
- Some editing functions are incomplete or missing.
- Requires JavaScript; without it, only the source editor is available.
- Slower loading for longer pages compared to the source editor.
- Limited support for certain templates and advanced wikitext.
