Hello Dmehus, hope your doing well. I made a rerequest for interface admin over at Rfp which was declined by a test user citing "trust issues". I had this permission before (when we could grant it ourselves) and I've made some edits to interface admin protected pages in the past without breaking anything. Please advice. Cheers

It was locked to consuls for a reason. You have made one edit to CSS pages, which was reverted.

No problem then. Consider this request withdrawn

Synoman Barris, though your request rationale could've been a bit clearer, you've shown yourself to be a trusted user, have confirmed your Wikimedia user account of the same name, and have shown yourself to be familiar with CSS and JS script editing, on Miraheze and on Wikimedia, so I've  done this for you for the time being and on a provisional basis.

Thank you. If you don't mind you can also return my +crat and + admin bits. I was a bit frustrated earlier and I ended up removing both. Cheers

No problem, done. I can understand your frustration, and was a bit puzzled why Naleksuh declined your request, since bureaucrats have no capacity to add, or remove, the interface-admin permission on TestWiki. They can, of course, express a comment, which Consuls will take into consideration, but, ultimately, the decision to grant rests with Consuls alone. I apologize for my delay in actioning your original request. I generally aim to action such requests within three (3) calendar days, but in the event I do not achieve this objective and something is more urgently required, please feel free to join us on IRC in #miraheze-testwiki or reach out to any other Consul

I don't see any evidence of trust. In particular, the user claims they have "made some edits to interface admin protected pages in the past without breaking anything", even though this is false, their only edit to css/js pages broke that page and had to be reverted.

Dmehus (talkcontribs)

Their edits to CSS/JS pages on TestWiki may be limited, but they have edited similar pages on other Miraheze wikis. Additionally, per their level of trustworthiness established from the Wikimedia wikis, I'm thus satisfied. One reverted edit to a CSS/JS page, which seems to be more of an editorial/UX reversion than anything else, should not disqualify someone from serving with the permission. If Synoman makes questionable edits, this can be raised with any Consul, and the permission can be removed
