Nevertheless, we generally do not block users for non-test blocks, except in exceptional circumstances (i.e., to prevent a user who is imminently harming the wiki). I appreciate your restraint in not reblocking, as that would be wheel-warring, but nevertheless, it wasn't appropriate.
