The [[TestWiki:Confirmed|Confirmed]] user group provides most of the same user group rights as the [[TestWiki:Autoconfirmed userusers|autoconfirmed users]] group, with the '''exception''' of the <code>createaccount</code>, <code>mwoauthproposeconsumer</code>, and <code>mwoauthupdateownconsumer</code> user group rights that are generally not required for this manual group. Any [[TestWiki:Administrators|administrator]] may grant a requesting user, including themselves, this user permission; however, because most users are automatically promoted to [[TestWiki:Autoconfirmed users|autoconfirmed]] upon their account becoming more than four days old and them having made at least ten ''edits'', it is rarely ''needed''. The most common ''need'' for [[TestWiki:Confirmed|confirmed]] permission is for a user's legitimate alternate account or approved bot account that will make few, if any, ''edit'').
