The current links to IRC redirect to IRCCloud, this doesn't seem like the best solution, I think it would be better to link to Libera's webchat instead of IRCCloud. What do you all think? Agent Isai (talk) 21:45, 5 July 2021 (UTC)

Agent Isai, thank you for this request, and to the others that commented. Originally, since most users used IRCCloud, I thought this was the best solution; however, I'm not convinced the IRCCloud links are indeed permanent links. MacFan4000 said he preferred to have IRCCloud, so I kept it as is; however, it seems users are more amenable to switching, so this will be done. Fortunately, I also just added the libera prefix globally, so I don't even need to update the local interwiki prefix. Additionally, I'll keep the irccloud local prefix as there some historical log actions that refer to that prefix in interwiki wikilinks.
