::::The candidates opinion of themselves is irrelevant. I don't think it's a codified policy but we would strongly encourage it. It's quite frankly just good manners to ask the others if they had anything to raise. The existing consuls are not exactly a large group. I will make the point of order that this isn't the first request to have one of Doug's closes on this wiki overturned and he also was forced to resign Steward or be removed due to concerns around supervoting.
