:[[User:NotAracham|NotAracham]], thank you for your question. The discussion was open for a week. If I had concerns about the nominee, I would not have closed and would have expressed a view. I did take care into ensuring it was compliant with the current [[TestWiki:Policies|policies]] and, in particular, in terms of precedents, I followed [[TestWiki:Community portal/Archive2#Request for Consul by Zppix|this Consul request]], which Void closed as successful. As with this request, it, too, had only a single participant other than the nominee. Even in my close, I even borrowed and varied Void's wording.
