:::::In the time I've spent on Miraheze, I've never seen policy upheld in that manner, in some cases I've seen consuls intervene with a reminder to ''not'' approve bureaucrat before 24h with sysop. If such policy has changed recently, I do apologize and would ask that you link to that page so I could study it and improve my knowledge base. Otherwise, general custom is to wait 24 hours.
