::: {{ping|Naleksuh}} Yes, it certainly would be more consistent, but [[TestWiki:Bot approval requests]] is a bit of a different user group in several ways. For one thing, a bot's approval may be ''modified'', potentially more than once, so strictly archiving the request in the traditional manner may be undesirable. For another consideration, a bot's approval may be later ''withdrawn'', ''revoked'', or even ''transferred'' to another bot or operator. Finally, historically, a [[User:Revibot|bot]] archived [[TestWiki:Request permissions]], but it hasn't operated here in several years. That could certainly ''change''. So, yeah, those would just be some of my reasons for wanting to try something different here. In any case, we've probably got time on our side here, as there's only two approved bot requests on this page, and neither is currently operating. So, we have time to think this over some more. :::: There are three requests though. Unless you are counting my two requests as a single request? In any case, I think that stuff can simply be archived once it is thought that the discussion is over, and a new one is created if it is thought that it isn't the case.
