Resetting the sandbox to properly work in all namespaces[edit]

@Naleksuh:, maybe you might know to finalize the implementation of my improved "reset sandbox" link. Is there any way we can do what I'm trying to do, with Template:Sandbox heading/preload, but have it replace the existing page with the contents of the preload (instead of adding it in a new section)? Previously, what had been done was we apparently were linking to the previous revision of the community sandbox, but that doesn't work with userspace sandboxes. I'd like to have this template working so it can be added to any sandbox, whether at sandbox or at a user's personal sandbox. Your bot idea sounds like a good idea as well, but would still like to finalize this improvement for manually clearing. Dmehus (talk) 07:45, 14 July 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

@Dmehus: Yeah I couldn't get it to work. Maybe ask someone else. Naleksuh (talk) 08:19, 14 July 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
