Autoconfirmed users are users who have a user account at least 4 days old and have made at least 10 edits. This userright is automatically assigned by the MediaWiki software - it cannot be manually added via Special:UserRights and promotions to the user group are not logged. Only the abuse filter can revoke autoconfimed rights, and only then for exceptional reasons.
