I'd like to test some things with images, which (I believe) doesn't require being an administrator. The policies say to delete pages after you're done ([[TestWiki:Main policy#Deleting and undeleting pages]], [[TestWiki:Testing policy#Editing and deleting pages]]), but trying to do so (e.g. on https://publictestwiki.com/wiki/File:Test.png?action=delete) says "The action you have requested is limited to users in the group: Administrators."
Do I have to request for admin before carrying out my tests (or, I suppose during or after if I get it fast enough), or is there a way to mark pages for deletion and/or delete pages independently without admin?

Hi everyone,
I'm requesting consul here on TestWiki. I've been a major contributor here over the past few months, keeping a tab open at all times to the comings and goings of the wiki. I'm familiar with all TestWiki policies and am capable of deploying them when necessary (and also when not to). This can be evidenced by my Meta sysop edits, which is not radically different from a moderation perspective than TestWiki consul. I'm not quick to be the first, I let logic guide my decisions, and when unsure, I seek a second (or third) perspective.
If elected consul, I'd also start developing plans for a partial overhaul of the wiki (with community input of course), to see how we can better shape the wiki for the wider Miraheze community, as the current format is quite little known and rarely used by more than a select few. Potentially, we streamline how we organize the wiki, and include it in more documentation pages on Meta as well to make it easier to test features. Additionally, I'd love to put forth an RfF on [[TestWiki:Inactivity|TestWiki:Inactivity policy]]. I'd want to take a particular look at the 3 months inactivity time period, and whether that is still appropriate for the wiki.
The above is just a few ideas I have in mind, but I'd love to be able to expand to more with the community. I welcome any questions or concerns and am more than happy to answer any set forth. Since then, I’ve become an administrator on Meta, Miraheze’s home wiki (equivalent to consul here), and have a good track record within the community. Hello. I believe that the CheckUser permission should be granted on TestWiki. Miraheze stewards have the technical ability to grant it. Of course, this should be based on a community vote and the permission would not be for testing purposes. CheckUser could only be granted to combat possible vandalism and only to trusted users by voting. Miraheze could also enable the Oversight permission. It is true that it is more trusted, but what to do if someone, for example, shared their real phone number on TestWiki? You can create such requirements for these groups and minimize the risk. Moreover, bureaucrats and administrators will still be the test groups, and enabling checkuser and oversight would only increase the involvement of constantly active and trusted users (e.g. consuls). ::::@[[User:BZPN|BZPN]] And for a information I contacted one of Global Administrator of Meta Miraheze so this was his reply I would like to tell you that the thing you have proposed has very less chance to be accepted as that’s not really possible as having CU/OS requires a non disclosure agreement with the WikiTide Foundation, and policy for local CU says there must be at least two and it wouldn’t be given for testing. :* Neither [[m:CheckUser]] or [[m:Oversight]] have demonstrated need to be assigned locally. This is a very high bar as you will see on the respective pages. I have actually never addressed a request for either of those on this wiki to date and this is consistent with a majority of wikis.
:* I empathize to the desire to remove PII as quickly as possible, but I am satisfied by the need for tight requirements over cutting that corner in response time. Local admins are empowered to use a temporary suppress until oversight arrives, which is still better than it being otherwise public and open to caching and scraping. Likewise it is rare that a circumstance appears for CU where having CU appear just a bit sooner significantly impacts the outcome.
:* Advanced access should never be used to 'jog up activity'. Please consider less sensitive methods to pursue this otherwise reasonable desire.
:For these reasons I firmly oppose this concept.
