{{hidden ping|John}}Despite your extremely dubious comment that you were "granted permission by JohnLewis to attempt a privilege-escalation on this wiki", I see no evidence of this and it appears to be a hoax. As such, I have blocked you for attempted script injection. If this is not the case, John is welcome to perform the unblock. *{{re|Naleksuh}} Aww, you got it :). For what it's worth, I actually did get IRC permission from JohnLewis to attempt this; you can see the JS was set to lock this account automatically. John: The problem here is that instead of just one page to protect (Mediawiki:common.js), if you want to do it this way you'll need to protect every .js file for every account with advanced privileges (e.g. User:JohnLewis/vector.js) -- an impossible task. Instead, remove the ability of administrators to edit js (both sitewide and userspace), or at least remove the ability to manipulate rights on this wiki. Despite your extremely dubious comment that you were "granted permission by JohnLewis to attempt a privilege-escalation on this wiki", I see no evidence of this and it appears to be a hoax. As such, I have blocked you for attempted script injection. If this is not the case, John is welcome to perform the unblock. Naleksuh (talk) 02:46, 29 October 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

  • @Naleksuh: Aww, you got it :).
