I noticed you prepared Mass Delete 2 for translation. While technically speaking, you did everything correctly, using Special:PagePreparation and such, on TestWiki, that page is actually part of a series of special test pages earmarked for testing the <code>nuke</code> user right. So, in that case, that page probably shouldn't be prepared for translation. If you would like to test by preparing a page, what you can do is start a new test page in English, then prepare it for translation. This can be in Main: namespace or as a subpage of your userspace; it's up to you. When you are ready to start translating, you can discuss with me which of our non-test pages you'd like to see translated, then I can see if there's a use case, and have you prepare and translate the page.

This is actually a good learning opportunity, though, in terms of Mass Delete 2. As the Translate extension MediaWiki help page advises, prepared pages shouldn't be removed from the translation system until all the translated subpages, including the <code>/en</code> subpage have been deleted. So to correct this, what you will need to do is go to Mass Delete/en (and any other translation subpages you've created) and use the <code>delete</code> function to delete those pages, with the deletion reason "test done." Once the pages have been deleted, then you can remove the page from the translation system.

Preparing pages for translation

Hi Lois,

Welcome to Public Test Wiki. It's going to be great having you here, helping to translate pages, and also generally testing the administrator tools.

I noticed you prepared Mass Delete 2 for translation. While technically speaking, you did everything correctly, using Special:PagePreparation and such, on TestWiki, that page is actually part of a series of special test pages earmarked for testing the nuke user right.

As the Translate extension MediaWiki help page advises, prepared pages shouldn't be removed from the translation system until all the translated subpages, including the /en subpage have been deleted. So to correct this, what you will need to do is go to Mass Delete 2/en (and any other translation subpages you've created) and use the delete function to delete those pages, with the deletion reason "test done." Once the pages have been deleted, then you can remove the page from the translation system.

Happy testing,
