Since you're quite active here with translating and fixing [[Special:LintErrors|lint errors]], I feel like, particularly after [[Special:Permalink/36464|this request]], that you'd benefit from the [[TestWiki:Administrators|sysop]] and/or [[TestWiki:Bureaucrats|bureaucrat]] tools. Administrators and bureaucrats on TestWiki are still (mostly) testing permissions, but nonetheless would allow you to mark pages for translation and protect pages. As long as you understand [[TestWiki:Testing policy]] and [[TestWiki:Policies]], you should be fine.
Also, regarding your [[Special:Permalink/36464|request]], I've protected it at <code>[[TestWiki:Bureaucrats|bureaucrat]]</code>, but if it's an AWB configuration page, let me know if you'd prefer <code>[[
