(→‎Melan (Bureaucrat): Noting the wikicomment that only consults or bureaucrats should change this flag, since RhinosF1 added "done" at the bottom, it seems likely that he meant to update the RfPStatus to "done," so doing for him. -DM)

Request Permissions
What is this page used for?
  • If you want to request testing permissions, you've come to the right place!
Tips for a successful request:
  • Be sure to replace Requested right with the right you are requesting. You'll see what we're talking about once you hit "Request permissions" below.
Important Notes
  • Please be sure to review TestWiki:Policies before making any request.
  • Administrator may be granted to any logged in user, and revoked for inappropriate use.
  • Bureaucrat will only be granted to a user who has been an administrator for 24 hours, who has at least 10 edits and who is trustworthy.
  • Rights like Checkuser and Oversight will not be given due to the access to private information.
  • For rollback, confirmed user and autopatrolled rights, you can assign it to yourself if you're an administrator.

Done for 4 days per your account restrictions. RhinosF1 (talk) 21:20, 28 May 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Since my 4 days are almost up, I'm wondering if I can stay an admin for longer so I can keep testing. I have made sure not to test on any non-test pages and to undo my edits. Thanks. Melan (talk) 14:37, 1 June 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Done Permanently. Please keep up the good work and remember that your rights can be revoked at any time. Thank you -Examknow (talk) 14:59, 1 June 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Dmehus (Admin and Bureaucrat)

  • Status: Placed On hold by RhinosF1
  • User: Dmehus ( talk · contribs · deleted · logs · rights · CentralAuth )
  • Requested group/permission: Admin and Bureaucrat
  • Reason for requesting: I realize that "bureaucrat" permissions are not normally granted to users with less than 10 edits, but I do think that taking into account my global edits chiefly on the Meta, Login, and Commons wikis, and my interactions with several administrators on those wikis, I've demonstrated the second part of the requirements—that the user is trustworthy. So, in addition to testing out, playing with, and learning about the administrator and bureaucrat tools, I'd also like to help out with writing new or copyediting existing content pages on this wiki and generally helping out with the maintenance-related tasks. As the administrator school gets up and running, I'd also be interested in (a) joining that school and (b) volunteering as a trainer.

We don't follow the requirement strictly but I've granted admin only, find me on discord later today (after a few tests and about 6 hours is fine) and I'll add crat. RhinosF1 (talk) 11:32, 5 June 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@RhinosF1: Okay, sounds good. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 12:53, 5 June 2020 (UTC)Reply[reply]
