Request Permissions

What is this page used for? If you want to request testing permissions, you've come to the right place!

Tips for a successful request: Be sure to replace Requested right with the right you are requesting. You'll see what we're talking about once you hit "Request permissions" below.

Important Notes Administrator may be granted to any logged in user, and revoked for inappropriate use. Bureaucrat will only be granted to a user who has been an administrator for 24 hours, who has at least 10 edits and who is trustworthy. Rights like Checkuser and Oversight will not be given due to the access to private information. For rights that administrator can assign(rollback, confirmed, autopatrol) simply contact an administrator.

@Void: How do you create an abuse filter that targets only specific users? All of the ones at EN Wikipedia that do this are private, so I don't have a clue yet would like to know. DeltaQuad (talk) 01:19, 14 December 2016 (UTC)

How do you mean specific users? If you would want it to only fire on, for example, yourself, you would use something like: "DeltaQuad" in user_name. Otherwise, filters target users by the types of edits that they make, and what they typically include in those edits. -- Void ^Whispers 01:24, 14 December 2016 (UTC)

Oh, and if you want to check for multiple users based upon username, use: contains_any(user_name,"UserName","Example","ect"). If you need anything else, let me know. -- Void ^Whispers 01:56, 14 December 2016 (UTC)
