I would also add <code><nowiki>--~~<noinclude/>~~</nowiki></code> to the given template, so the signature is included when it is [[w:Help:Substitution\|substituted]]. Finally, I would also add template documentation stating the template should ''always'' be [[w:Help:Substitution\|substituted]]. Hope that helps.
