Hello! This IP address was blocked for vandalism by another administrator, but in order isn't to violate the block, I had blocked his IP range . Needed? Thanks!

AlPaD, thank you for the question, and apologies for the delay in replying. This is blatant vandalism, to be sure, but it's only one edit. Your rangeblock probably wasn't needed, but it was only a three-day block and it was a soft block, so minimal (if any) legitimate users would be affected, and they could always create an account on a wiki other than TestWiki. I'd probably rangeblock if it was an open proxy/web host/colocation provider, or there were more vandalism entries with different single IPs on that range. Hope that helps? In any case, it wasn't wrong, and was still potentially helpful, so thank you for the counter-vandalism and maintenance work you do here. :)
