Unblock accepted

Following discussions with Reception123, as Consul and Agent Isai as a regular TestWiki community member, I am unblocking you on TestWiki for several reasons. Firstly, you self-reported, within ten (10) minutes, your alternate account creation, which you were only able to create to the expiration of a soft rangeblock which has since been corrected. That single act demonstrates your capacity for changed behaviour. While you're making slow progress, you are making progress, and your CVT vandalism and user reports on Miraheze and Test Wiki have been among the most helpful. Secondarily, your technical block evasion was for a self-requested block. Finally, you have seemed to have improved on the racist or racially insensitive edit/log summaries, though further improvement on the gibberish edits is needed. Still, on that last point, and this was always part of my plan to see have a user governor abuse filter to help guide you to constructive editing, you just needed a stricter local abuse filter. Reception123 does feel there needs to be some sort of (short) restriction or sanction, so I've asked Chrs to temporarily restrict your editing to pages listed at Category:Special test pages or which are subpages of either (a) your ApexAgunomu main account's userspace or (b) your ApexTest test account's userspace. For greater clarity, you can use either account to edit in the other's userspace. Lastly, I would just ask that local administrators/bureaucrats not perform non-test blocks on you; however, they are empowered to add minor enhancements to your abuse filter. Also, the stricter abuse filter changes will be in place through between June 1st or June 5th, after which we'll assess your request for administrator and/or bureaucrat permissions. Chrs, please confirm, by way of a reply, when the abuse filter has been updated. Thank you. Dmehus (talk) 06:28, 25 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Thank you for unblocking me, I do appreciate it. Amd I will show that I can be a rule-abiding member here from now on. One question-should I wait until June 1 to request administrator and bureaucrat? ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 06:44, 25 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
That's great. It'll be June 1st-June 5th, depending on your improvements are. You actually won't need to re-request it. How about this...I'll, or another Consul, will take your request as a standing request and automatically regrant you the requisite rights sometime between June 1st and June 5th, assuming, they're satisfied with the level of improvement? Dmehus (talk) 06:59, 25 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
That sounds good to me. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 07:00, 25 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@ApexAgunomu, Chrs, and Dmehus: edits have already been made outside of the special pages and Apex's user space. Can we please clarify restrictions in place and ensure the are enforced? RhinosF1 (talk) 16:47, 25 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I understand that an abuse filter is supposed to keep me from editing any pages I'm not supposed to. So far I haven't run into any filter messages. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 17:23, 25 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
The abuse filter is there for advice. It's your responsibility to still follow the rules whether it's there or not. RhinosF1 (talk) 17:24, 25 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
The filter is now properly in place. — Chrs (talk) 20:24, 25 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Chrs, thanks. With regard to the above, any gibberish test edits or edits that will not be considered by Consuls come June 1st-5th for the purposes of ApexAgunomu's review. That being said, I do think the idea is to exercise self-restraint and not be guided entirely by an abuse filter; it's meant to help. If the abuse filter needs to be edited further, any bureaucrat can make the necessary tweaks. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 02:45, 26 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Okay, I will try to show self-restraint in my edits here. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 07:59, 26 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Chrs: can we ban moving anything other than the move test page? Just noticed @ApexAgunomu: move the spam blacklist test? I'm rubbish with AF. RhinosF1 (talk) 10:19, 26 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@RhinosF1: We can certainly disable moving outside of the main namespace and special test pages, restricting it specifically to the move test page would be possible, but would require fiddling about with some sort of tracking category/template to identify the page once moved. — Chrs (talk) 00:20, 27 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Things to Remember Here

  1. Don't test on non-test pages (generally, only test on pages categorized at or subpages of your own userspace)
  2. Don't put bad words anywhere
  3. Talk to people when they bring up issues with me
  4. If I'm reminded to stop doing something then stop doing it and don't repeat it
  5. Revert my tests

Your test actions

Hello. Could you please revert your actions when your tests are complete? Thanks! AlPaD (talk) 19:35, 26 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

sorry, I'll remeber to do that. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 20:00, 26 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Can someone please disable my test filter?

It's keeping me from editing my userpage and I'm not an admin so I can't disable it myself. Thanks!
