Regarding your recent actions[edit]

You recently changed your own bureaucrat right from temporary to indefinite, however you were explicitly given the right on a temporary basis, as was stated in your request. I would advise you to revert this action of your own accord. — Arcversin (talk) 23:48, 2 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Bureaucrat permission[edit]

Hi ApexAgunomu,

I actually didn't realize you were granted the bureaucrat permission temporarily. Anyway, while your permission is still a probationary grant, subject to Consul review after at least thirty (30) calendar days, I've  made it indefinite to avoid these sort of slip ups requiring self-correction, which I'm very glad you did.

Thanks,
Dmehus (talk) 00:07, 3 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Creation of this page[edit]

Hi ApexAgunomu,

I have Consul creation protected this page, as I really want to help guide you to constructive editing. While it's good you did not use racist language in your tests, you should at least keep your language civil and clean. It's good you reverted your creating the page, though, but please do keep this in mind.

Thanks,
Dmehus (talk) 01:53, 3 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Thank you for your desire to help me, I really do appreciate that. I will definitely mind my language here from now on. ApexAgunomu (talk) 05:37, 3 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

About Main Page/ur[edit]

Hello, I want to know why have you deleted Main Page/ur in this action?

Plus, I have reverted your deletion of Sandbox, please don't forget to undelete your test! HeartsDo (talk) 14:17, 4 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

It was a test, I just didn't know how to restore the page. And I will remember to revert my tests. ApexAgunomu (talk) 14:21, 4 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@ApexAgunomu: please head the warnings on your talk page. If you're edits do not get back in line with policy, you will loose your access. You should not be making uncivil comments and removing active restrictions. RhinosF1 (talk) 19:32, 4 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Be careful[edit]

Hello, please stop write abusive comments after the word "Hi". Thank you! AlPaD (talk) 12:05, 5 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

You aren't going to stop so I've restored your block. RhinosF1 (talk) 13:40, 5 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I'm sorry for disregarding the warnings here and for continuing to use those bad insults. I definitely should have stopped when first told. Is there any way I can be unblocked sometime in the future and maybe become an admin again? (Not anytime soon, but maybe in a few months) ApexAgunomu (talk) 13:45, 5 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@ApexAgunomu: Can you pop on IRC and ping me? RhinosF1 (talk) 14:15, 5 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Sure. ApexAgunomu (talk) 14:16, 5 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

From now on....[edit]

I will obey all the rules here and respond to and heed any warning I may get here on my talk page. ApexAgunomu (talk) 14:32, 5 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Welcome back :) AlPaD (talk) 17:30, 5 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Thanks. :) ApexAgunomu (talk) 17:50, 5 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

April 2022[edit]

You have continued to make abusive comments on pages following your unblock on April 5, see [1] [2] [3] [4], even ignoring an abuse filter meant to prevent such edits. Please explain yourself. — Arcversin (talk) 21:34, 8 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I thought that as long as I deleted thise pages afterwards and nobody saw them, it wouldn't be so bad. But I'll pay attention to the filter and not try to make those kinds of edits. ApexAgunomu (talk) 21:47, 8 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
That doesn't make that acceptable, as the comments are still abusive. It's totally fine for you to create and then quickly delete a page for testing purposes, but don't make abusive comments in the process. — Arcversin (talk) 21:54, 8 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Okay, I will stay away from any rude comments here. ApexAgunomu (talk) 22:31, 8 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
You did it again: [5]. I strongly concur with Dmehus that you should reinstate your previous self-imposed partial block from the various Talk namespaces, and I will update the abuse filter targeting such edits to be stricter. — Chrs (talk) 14:25, 10 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Chrs, that's great. Thanks. The more we can guide ApexAgunomu, augmented by a targeted abuse filter, the better. Let me know you're done. I may create an abusefilter-restricted user group here, granted by Consuls, that would allow you to edit Consul-restricted abuse filters. Dmehus (talk) 14:29, 10 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Dmehus: The filter has been updated, and it should be far more effective at guidance. With regards to an abusefilter-restricted group, I can see the use of that, though I don't believe that this filter would become Consul-restricted. — Chrs (talk) 15:04, 10 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Warning[edit]

Please don't make test edits in pages under Category:Non-test pages . Making gibberish edits in those pages may be viewed as vandalism and your account might be blocked to prevent disruption. Thanks Synoman Barris (talk) 12:05, 10 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Sorry, I won't edit non-test pages here. ApexAgunomu (talk) 12:07, 10 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
ApexAgunomu, I would strongly suggest it might be helpful for you to partially block yourself from any namespaces where you think your edits might be viewed as disruptive. Basically, allow yourself to edit in User: namespace. If, after, say, two weeks straight of good test edits, you feel comfortable unblocking yourself, then do so. At that point, we'd likely feel comfortable granting you bureaucrat, where you have made a few useful contributions (i.e., granting permissions). Dmehus (talk) 14:18, 10 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yeah, I do think the partial block might be good at least for now. And I will keep it in place for at least two weeks. Also, I had planned on reauesting bureaucrat on April 15. I'm guessing I should wait longer to do that now, right? ApexAgunomu (talk) 14:36, 10 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
That's probably a good idea also, in light of recent events. I'd say two weeks from the time you partially block yourself from the recommended namespaces. Dmehus (talk) 14:38, 10 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Okay. I have made the block, and if anyone feels it might be good to modify it in any way, go ahead-I won't object. ApexAgunomu (talk) 14:40, 10 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Hello! Because the edits were in the namespace "TestWiki" I thought it would be good to block you from there. If it is wrong you can undo it. Thanks! AlPaD (talk) 17:41, 10 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
No, I think that was a good choice you made. Thanks for letting me know. Like I said earlier, if anyone feels the need to change the length or add namespaces to this block, please feel free. I do want to be a good admin (and bureaucrat) here, so I appreciate any guidance and help others offer me, and I will do my best to take it all seriously. ApexAgunomu (talk) 17:44, 10 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Thank you for the reply and understanding :) AlPaD (talk) 17:50, 10 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Abuse filter advise[edit]

Just so you know, the abuse filter variable page_title doesn't include the page namespace (for example, User), if you want that, you need page_prefixedtitle. However, it's a good idea to instead filter by using page_namespace along with page_title, which is more efficient. — Chrs (talk) 00:18, 12 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Great, thank you so much! I really appreciate the guidance! ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 00:22, 12 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
By the way, I got the filter to work! ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 12:23, 12 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Non-test pages[edit]

Hello! Please stop edits like this, because TestWiki:Community portal isn't test page. Thank you! AlPaD (talk) 12:19, 12 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Sorry, I won't do that again. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 12:24, 12 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
OK, thank you! AlPaD (talk) 16:18, 12 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Blocked[edit]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 3 days as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make non-destructive tests after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism, spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks, legal threats; and repeated, blatant violations of our policies will not be tolerated. You can request an unblock by placing {{Unblock|reason}} on your talkpage. Any patrolling Consul will shortly get to you.

Synoman Barris (talk) 05:56, 13 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

After multiple warnings you still continue deleting translation units of important non-test page and making test edits to non test pages . I have therefore blocked you for three days awaiting consul action. Feel free to request an unblock with the template above.Cheers --Synoman Barris (talk) 06:01, 13 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Hi Synoman, first I removed your block because I think any nontest blocks should be placed by consuls. I will try to reach one of them via IRC to come look at this. Second, I restored that translation I deleted so I didn't think that was a big issue. Third, I will not edit non-test pages any more. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 09:59, 13 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Hi @ApexAgunomu and Synoman Barris: I don't think this situation has been handled well be either of you. There's some annoying ignorance of past warnings and removing of a block that you should have asked a consul about from ApexAgunomu but then I'm not convinced the block of someone actively being monitored by consuls was an action needed to prevent immediate disruption given no effort to reach a consul or seek advice. I'm going to wait for a second consul opinion but I'm between a rock and a hard place of whether to put any sanctions in place as both have you have done wrong. RhinosF1 (talk) 10:08, 13 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I have spoken to @HeartsDo: on IRC and am going to follow up now as I think this will be the best solution.
  • The block placed by Synoman is not upheld and therefore overturned and treated as non-existent.
  • @ApexAgunomu: is restricted indefinitely as a separate response to ignoring warnings and editing on non-test pages to their own userspace. They are reminded that they should not remove thier own blocks. This prohibits any non-test actions. Admin will remain but they will not be allowed 'crat while this is in effect.
  • @Synoman Barris: is warned about their usage of the admin tool. They are reminded that if a consul action is in place. They should consult with consuls before overriding it unless it is an emergency and not doing so would cause damage to the project. Consuls should have been easily re-eachable in this case within a reasonable time and the edit-rate was fairly low.
This case is being watched very closely by the consul team and this action should only be reviewed by them.
RhinosF1 (talk) 10:47, 13 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@RhinosF1: when is the soonest I can appeal my restriction? ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 12:01, 13 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
10 days assuming compliance with it RhinosF1 (talk) 12:09, 13 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Restriction Amendment Idea[edit]

@RhinosF1, @Reception123, or @Dmehus, I was just wondering if maybe my restriction can amended to say that I simply can't edit non-test pages here. I feel that that would be sufficient to keep me out of trouble here. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 14:30, 16 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

ApexAgunomu, that was my idea that I expressed to you on IRC in the #miraheze-testwiki channel. It would likely last for at least a month or two months, though, to ensure you can follow it. I still wouldn't be comfortable restoring your bureaucrat bit before the end of April, though, unless you can obtain the support of at least two other non-Consul active community members, or another Consul. Dmehus (talk) 15:26, 16 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Okay, that sounds good with me. So can I now start editing other places besides just my userspace? ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 15:39, 16 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I mean, you already have been, and no one's said anything, so it probably seems fine. I'd suggest making your tests specific to specific special test pages, though. If adding gibberish, please use your userspace sandbox or the community sandbox, though, okay? Dmehus (talk) 16:53, 16 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Okay, I'll keep the gibberish limited to the sandboxes. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 17:25, 16 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Also, I tried to close a discussion on your Testwiki.wiki talk page, because I think the issue is resolved. However, someone reversed it and said I shouldn't close discussions. I apologize if I did the wrong thing there. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 17:31, 16 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I'm fine with this. You've been sensible enough. That's kinda why I wasn't pushing on being about of your user space. I was treating it as advice more to help you. RhinosF1 (talk) 10:23, 17 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Thanks. I'll keep being sensible in my edits here. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 10:28, 17 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Your recent test block[edit]

Please note that, as per the Blocking policy and Testing policy, test blocks should generally not be performed on other users without their permission. I would strongly advise you against performing test blocks on real users without seeking their permission. — Chrs (talk) 23:20, 17 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

To be clear, I would generally concur with this, though we are flexible on this, but given the current appeal of their restriction, it's perhaps not the best move. I personally don't mind, as it was less than five minutes and was clearly a marked test block. We may want to create a {{Users opted in to be blocked for testing purposes}} template or something. Dmehus (talk) 23:25, 17 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Sorry, I thought we were allowed to block other users for under two hours, but as that isn't the best thing, I'll just block myself for tests. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 23:27, 17 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
It does say that in TestWiki:Blocking policy, and it's fine, but it also says you should leave a note on their user talk page explaining your tests. In any case, it's entirely up to you. I don't mind you blocking me, but just maybe avoid the same block test over and over. :) Dmehus (talk) 23:35, 17 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Okay, I'll be more careful with test blocks.
On a different note, would anyone know how to restore this page I deleted as a test? I don't know how to set up translations.

Translations are bit difficult to restore, so it's good you didn't just undelete it. It generally involves importing translation units. Admittedly, this is the one area of the Translate extension I know very little about, but perhaps HeartsDo can assist? Dmehus (talk) 23:42, 17 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Note to Myself[edit]

About your recent actions[edit]

Hello,

Stop deleting translation pages on non-tests pages (+ I see that you have recreate translation pages for "scn" without restoring revisons, don't do that again too! If you just want to correct something, do it by editing).

Finally, don't try to bypass your filter like you did here.

PS: I have done with restoring all the translation pages. Thanks for the ping Dmehus. HeartsDo (talk) 17:28, 19 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Yeah, I'll stay away from deleting translation pages here. I also won't try to bypass the filter anymore. Thanks for restoring everything. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 17:30, 19 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Your block[edit]

Hello! I think it's a better idea to block you from the "TestWiki" namespace instead from the main. Do you agree? AlPaD (talk) 09:13, 22 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Yeah that sounds good. Thanks for asking! ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 10:03, 22 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

TestWiki:Bureaucrats[edit]

Hello,

You was told that you need to stop editing or any other actions on non-tests page, so I asking you to stop that again. Don't do any actions on any non-tests page like you did on TestWiki:Bureaucrats.

Thanks,

PS: As alawys, don't bypass your filter (eg. TestWiki:Autoconfirmed users). HeartsDo (talk) 16:37, 28 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Note that this edit adding profanity categories that is unrelated to the non-test page may be considered vandalism. If you continue such actions, you may lead to a block made by consuls, thanks. --Matttest (talk) 00:26, 29 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Sorry, I will be more careful of my actions here. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 00:34, 29 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Please don't do test actions on non-test pages again like Template:RP/doc. Your move causes unnecessary redirects to the page and have just been deleted. If you cannot distinguish between non-test pages and test pages, please only test on pages that are on Category:Special test pages. Thank you. --Matttest (talk) 03:02, 29 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Request reason:

Hello @MacFan4000: I see you blocked me for a month due to my continuing to edit non-test pages. I should have heeded the warnings I got, and I promise to start listening to the messages I get regarding my actions. Can I please be unblocked? I won't edit or otherwise do anything with non-test pages (also a month seems rather long for this offense). ApexAgunomu (My changes here / Drop me a line) 12:56, 29 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Decline reason:

Non-consul and non-blocking admin comment: You were warned numerous times by asking you to stop your disruptive edits, so I don't see a reason to unblock you. Any consul can review this again, but she/he is encouraged to initiate a discussion with all involved parties (consuls (and active patrollers (aka. active sysop) if possible)). Otherwise, you have to wait 1 month for the block to expired. Thanks, HeartsDo (talk) 14:49, 29 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Consul note: I am endorsing the decision to block and leave it in place. Far too many warnings have been given and the disruption just does not stop. This block is NOT to be removed without consulting at least one other consul and one other non-consul sysop whoever you are and you should give time for anyone to respond. @ApexAgunomu: you are going to risk being community banned soon. Please be careful. RhinosF1 (talk) 15:10, 29 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

@RhinosF1: I just have one last question. When my block expires, will I still be able to regain administrator and bureaucrat here? And I guess I do need to take a longer break and really think about my behavior here, so I'll wait for the block to expire on its own. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 15:16, 29 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Probably not immediately RhinosF1 (talk) 15:35, 29 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I'm not sure I agree with extending this block to the other test wikis. At least not right now. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 18:09, 29 April 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Request reason:

I accept that I was being disruptive by continuing to edit on non-test pages and that I deserve a short block for that. However, I feel that one month is a bit too long. Can my block please be reduced to a week or two instead? I promise to not test on any non-test pages here or use any bad words here. Thank you. Unblock accepted[edit]

Following discussions with Reception123, as Consul and Agent Isai as a regular TestWiki community member, I am unblocking you on TestWiki for several reasons. Firstly, you self-reported, within ten (10) minutes, your alternate account creation, which you were only able to create to the expiration of a soft rangeblock which has since been corrected. That single act demonstrates your capacity for changed behaviour. While you're making slow progress, you are making progress, and your CVT vandalism and user reports on Miraheze and Test Wiki have been among the most helpful. Secondarily, your technical block evasion was for a self-requested block. Finally, you have seemed to have improved on the racist or racially insensitive edit/log summaries, though further improvement on the gibberish edits is needed. Still, on that last point, and this was always part of my plan to see have a user governor abuse filter to help guide you to constructive editing, you just needed a stricter local abuse filter. Reception123 does feel there needs to be some sort of (short) restriction or sanction, so I've asked Chrs to temporarily restrict your editing to pages listed at Category:Special test pages or which are subpages of either (a) your ApexAgunomu main account's userspace or (b) your ApexTest test account's userspace. For greater clarity, you can use either account to edit in the other's userspace. Lastly, I would just ask that local administrators/bureaucrats not perform non-test blocks on you; however, they are empowered to add minor enhancements to your abuse filter. Also, the stricter abuse filter changes will be in place through between June 1st or June 5th, after which we'll assess your request for administrator and/or bureaucrat permissions. Chrs, please confirm, by way of a reply, when the abuse filter has been updated. Thank you. Dmehus (talk) 06:28, 25 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Thank you for unblocking me, I do appreciate it. Amd I will show that I can be a rule-abiding member here from now on. One question-should I wait until June 1 to request administrator and bureaucrat? ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 06:44, 25 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
That's great. It'll be June 1st-June 5th, depending on your improvements are. You actually won't need to re-request it. How about this...I'll, or another Consul, will take your request as a standing request and automatically regrant you the requisite rights sometime between June 1st and June 5th, assuming, they're satisfied with the level of improvement? That sounds good to me. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 07:00, 25 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@ApexAgunomu, Chrs, and Dmehus: edits have already been made outside of the special pages and Apex's user space. Can we please clarify restrictions in place and ensure the are enforced? RhinosF1 (talk) 16:47, 25 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I understand that an abuse filter is supposed to keep me from editing any pages I'm not supposed to. So far I haven't run into any filter messages. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 17:23, 25 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
The abuse filter is there for advice. It's your responsibility to still follow the rules whether it's there or not. RhinosF1 (talk) 17:24, 25 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
The filter is now properly in place. — Chrs (talk) 20:24, 25 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Chrs, thanks. With regard to the above, any gibberish test edits or edits that will not be considered by Consuls come June 1st-5th for the purposes of ApexAgunomu's review. That being said, I do think the idea is to exercise self-restraint and not be guided entirely by an abuse filter; it's meant to help. If the abuse filter needs to be edited further, any bureaucrat can make the necessary tweaks. Thanks. Dmehus (talk) 02:45, 26 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Okay, I will try to show self-restraint in my edits here. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 07:59, 26 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Chrs: can we ban moving anything other than the move test page? Just noticed @ApexAgunomu: move the spam blacklist test? I'm rubbish with AF. RhinosF1 (talk) 10:19, 26 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@RhinosF1: We can certainly disable moving outside of the main namespace and special test pages, restricting it specifically to the move test page would be possible, but would require fiddling about with some sort of tracking category/template to identify the page once moved. — Chrs (talk) 00:20, 27 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Your test actions[edit]

Hello. Could you please revert your actions when your tests are complete? Thanks! AlPaD (talk) 19:35, 26 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

sorry, I'll remeber to do that. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 20:00, 26 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Can someone please disable my test filter?[edit]

It's keeping me from editing my userpage and I'm not an admin so I can't disable it myself. Thanks!

Testing on non-test pages[edit]

Hi, this is a reminder to not test on non-test pages. Thanks. MacFan4000 (Talk Contribs) 13:31, 31 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Yeah, I should definitely remember not to test on those pages, especially after being blocked for that. I won't do it again. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 13:36, 31 May 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

My admin and bureaucrat privileges[edit]

Hi Consuls, since it is now June 1, I was wondering if it would be possible to have my abuse filter changed to be less restrictive and also regain my admin and bureaucrat privileges here. I promise to be responsible here. Thank you. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 04:04, 1 June 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Adding relevant pings @Dmehus:, @RhinosF1:, @Reception123: as Consuls and @Chrs: as he is the one who modifies the abuse filter. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 04:54, 1 June 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I don't think it's appropriate quite frankly. RhinosF1 (talk) 15:09, 1 June 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
How long do you think it would be before I can have the restrictions lifted and my privileges back? I do feel that I can be responsible with the privileges. Maybe I could become an admin but not bureaucrat and leave the restrictions in place? As an admin I could delete and protect pages and handle any issues that might need an admin's intervention. @RhinosF1: ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 15:30, 1 June 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Your maturity is nowhere near the level you should be doing non-test actions on other user accounts. Given you don't quite seem to understand your restrictions now, I don't see why we should be expanding them more. I don't care what you feel, you've failed to show that you actually are. RhinosF1 (talk) 16:11, 1 June 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
The main issue for me is that instead of explaining why you deserve to have restrictions lifted and administrator/bureaucrat, you simply ask for it because a date is here. You've promised things before and it didn't seem to work out. While I would not necessarily be opposed to easing restrictions if there's a good explanation, I think it's too early to ask for administrator and definitely for bureaucrat. Reception123 (talk) 16:18, 1 June 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
As RhinosF1 has stated, it is entirely not time to restore any rights,
nor edit the filter. Maturity is severely lacking. Zppix (Meta | talk to me) 16:18, 1 June 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Yeah, I probably should be able to give good reasons to show why I can be trusted to have rights and edit here with no restrictions. I will wait a bit longer and show by my actions here that I have matured some. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 17:13, 1 June 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

This is how I understand my current "situation" here[edit]

Just noting this down for myself and for anyone else who's interested, feel free to clarify or correct as you want. I'm writing this so I can see in words why I'm in the place I currently am here.

I I have had issues with not reverting tests, testing on non-test pages and putting some bad words on pages here. Those issues have resulted in me being blocked a couple of times, and now I am back although with some restrictions enforced by an abuse filter here. Basically I can only edit the pages in the special test pages category along with any page in my userspace. And the reason why I'm not allowed to have admin and bureaucrat right now is because I need to show that I will not repeat any of those issues. So I will try to be responsible with my edits from now on and then maybe see if I can have the restrictions lifted and my rights regained in around a week or so (unless someone says otherwise).

This is how I understand my restrictions here and the reasons behind them. If I got any of this wrong, feel free to tell me. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 13:00, 2 June 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Note: In my opinion, admin would allow editing the filter so there needs to be no need for it before it can be granted. This means you'd have to go at least a week without hitting the filter before I would consider granting admin and with regular edits during that week. The filter is for guidance in case you break the rules, you need to demonstrate self control. RhinosF1 (talk) 10:57, 3 June 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I will do my best not to trigger the filter any more. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 20:18, 3 June 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Things to Remember Here[edit]

  1. Don't test on non-test pages (generally, only test on pages categorized at Category:Special test pages or subpages of your own userspace)
  2. Don't put bad words anywhere
  3. Talk to people when they bring up issues with me
  4. If I'm reminded to stop doing something then stop doing it and don't repeat it
  5. Revert my tests

Your actions today[edit]

Please note that a thread regarding you was opened at TestWiki:Community portal#Community Ban Request: ApexAgunomu. RhinosF1 (talk) 09:08, 4 June 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I honestly was not trying to get around the filter, just trying to test in a way that wouldn't trigger the filter. I was trying to show that I can do tests without breaking any rules. Also, I can't reply on that thread as the filter stops me from doing it.
Finally, just wanted to note that I'm a she. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 09:16, 4 June 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
@Chrs: please add Community Portal as exempt.
As to whether you were deliberately evading the filter, that's a matter to be decided.
I believe I used neutral language throughout the thread but if there's a mistake then I'll correct. RhinosF1 (talk) 09:19, 4 June 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Just wanted to add that most of the pages in the special test pages category are meant for testing by people with administrator powers, so without them I was trying to do some testing so I could show that I can edit here without setting off the filter. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 09:49, 4 June 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
You should know by now not to swear in your comments. Everything that's done is logged indefinitely and able to be seen. You are making no effort to comply with your restrictions. RhinosF1 (talk) 09:54, 4 June 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
The Community portal is now exempt from the filter. — Chrs (talk) 21:05, 4 June 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]
