Thanks to Dmehus to have respond to this! :p

Hi! I have noticed that some function pages are in English and my mother tongue is Finnish. May I translate some system messages into Finnish? It would happen by adding something like this: /fi, then the Finnish language will come. --Anton (talk) 07:00, 29 January 2021 (UTC)

Anton Which interface messages? Most interface messages should be translated on translatewiki.net, which are updated on Miraheze every week, unless it is something that is very specific to Miraheze or localized to this wiki.

Okay. I will translate somewhere on Translatewiki :)

Incidentally, I have read the bureaucrat-guide. Can I become a bureaucrat now? --Anton (talk) 07:12, 29 January 2021 (UTC)

Yeah, if it's default MediaWiki interface messages, then translatewiki.net is the best place for translations, but if it's a specific page or message unique to TestWiki (i.e., like MediaWiki:Group-consul), then you can create a language subpage of that interface message here. Hope that makes sense

Anton  Sure. Please continue to make sure you are following all policies and know that bureaucrat is, ultimately, a more senior, trusted testing permission. Ultimately, Consuls are the de facto non-test administrators on TestWiki and they, together with the community at TestWiki:Community portal, guide this wiki. If granting permissions, please try and link to the diff page of the given user's request when granting rights, and only grant rights upon request. --Dmehus (talk) 07:21, 29 January 2021 (UTC)
