Restriction Amendment Idea

ApexAgunomu, that was my idea that I expressed to you on IRC in the #miraheze-testwiki channel. It would likely last for at least a month or two months, though, to ensure you can follow it. I still wouldn't be comfortable restoring your bureaucrat bit before the end of April, though, unless you can obtain the support of at least two other non-Consul active community members, or another Consul. I mean, you already have been, and no one's said anything, so it probably seems fine. I'd suggest making your tests specific to specific special test pages, though. If adding gibberish, please use your userspace sandbox or the community sandbox, though, okay? Dmehus (talk) 16:53, 16 April 2022 (UTC)

Your recent test block

Please note that, as per the Blocking policy and Testing policy, test blocks should generally not be performed on other users without their permission. I would strongly advise you against performing test blocks on real users without seeking their permission. — Chrs (talk) 23:20, 17 April 2022 (UTC)

To be clear, I would generally concur with this, though we are flexible on this, but given the current appeal of their restriction, it's perhaps not the best move. I personally don't mind, as it was less than five minutes and was clearly a marked test block. We may want to create a {{Users opted in to be blocked for testing purposes}} template or something.
