Restriction Amendment Idea

@RhinosF1, @Reception123, or @Dmehus, I was just wondering if maybe my restriction can amended to say that I simply can't edit non-test pages here. I feel that that would be sufficient to keep me out of trouble here. ApexAgunomu (My changes here | Drop me a line) 14:30, 16 April 2022 (UTC)

ApexAgunomu, that was my idea that I expressed to you on IRC in the #miraheze-testwiki channel. It would likely last for at least a month or two months, though, to ensure you can follow it. I still wouldn't be comfortable restoring your bureaucrat bit before the end of April, though, unless you can obtain the support of at least two other non-Consul active community members, or another Consul. I mean, you already have been, and no one's said anything, so it probably seems fine. I'd suggest making your tests specific to specific special test pages, though. Please note that, as per the Blocking policy and Testing policy, test blocks should generally not be performed on other users without their permission. To be clear, I would generally concur with this, though we are flexible on this, but given the current appeal of their restriction, it's perhaps not the best move. I personally don't mind, as it was less than five minutes and was clearly a marked test block. We may want to create a {{Users opted in to be blocked for testing purposes}} template or something. It does say that in TestWiki:Blocking policy, and it's fine, but it also says you should leave a note on their user talk page explaining your tests. In any case, it's entirely up to you. I don't mind you blocking me, but just maybe avoid the same block test over and over. :) Dmehus (talk) 23:35, 17 April 2022 (UTC)

On a different note, would anyone know how to restore this page I deleted as a test? I don't know how to set up translations.

Translations are bit difficult to restore, so it's good you didn't just undelete it. It generally involves importing translation units. Admittedly, this is the one area of the Translate extension I know very little about, but perhaps HeartsDo can assist? Dmehus (talk) 23:42, 17 April 2022 (UTC)

Stop deleting translation pages on non-tests pages (+ I see that you have recreate translation pages for "scn" without restoring revisons, don't do that again too! If you just want to correct something, do it by editing).

Finally, don't try to bypass your filter like you did here.
