Your request for bureaucrat rights[edit]

You also asked for the rights of a bureaucrat on the TestWiki:RfP page. I just want to let you know that in order to get bureaucratic rights, you must have at least 10 edits ( You have more than 10 edits) and your account must be at least 24 hours old ( Your account is less than 24 hours old) per TestWiki:Bureaucrats. If you still want bureaucratic rights, wait until tomorrow to make sure your account is 24 hours old, then ask for bureaucratic rights. Or tomorrow you can put a message on this talk page if you want them, then you will be given those bureaucrat rights. It could be me or someone else in the TestWiki community. However, you are well aware of the policies and purpose of this wiki, so thanks for that! Have a nice day! --Anton (talk) 14:26, 31 March 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Anton, thank you for handling my request. Ok I'll request tomorrow when my account will be at least 24 hours old. Olipino talk 14:34, 31 March 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Since your user account is now about 24 hours old and you have more than 10 edits + in addition you know TestWiki policies, you have now been granted bureaucrat rights. Please continue to make sure you are following all policies and know that bureaucrat is, ultimately, a more senior, trusted testing permission. Ultimately, Consuls are the de facto non-test administrators on TestWiki and they, together with the community at TestWiki:Community portal, guide this wiki. If granting permissions, please try and link to the diff page of the given user's request when granting rights, and only grant rights upon request.--Anton (talk) 08:49, 1 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Thank you Anton, I was going to ping you to ask about. Have a nice time. Olipino talk 08:53, 1 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Anton, just a quick question. How are the other user rights (Oversight, CheckUser, Interface Administrator) assigned? Who are Consuls and Stawards? Olipino talk 09:05, 1 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Read meta:Stewards and TestWiki:Consuls. I'm not a steward or a consul, I'm just a bureaucrat, administrator and interface administrator. This wiki does not grant CheckUser or Oversight rights. --Anton (talk) 09:22, 1 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Anton, will you please unblock me. Olipino talk 09:24, 1 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
What do you mean? --Anton (talk) 09:32, 1 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Anton, I blocked my alternative account but I forgot that both accounts are using the same IP address! Just unblock the alternative one. Olipino talk 09:34, 1 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
 Done --Anton (talk) 09:37, 1 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Thanks! Olipino talk 09:37, 1 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Topic[edit]

Dmehus, test it yourself. Create an alternative account and blocked that for few minutes and see will you be able to edit! -- Jusl¡t (talk) 19:14, 5 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hrm? I'm not sure what you mean. You asked for alternate account to be unblocked, which you should be able to do from your main account. You shouldn't be able to edit while blocked, though, as far as I know? Dmehus (talk) 19:20, 5 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Oh, I see what you mean. You mean you can still edit from your main account. That's because your main account is a sysop is the one editing, so I would've thought it wouldn't be affected by autoblocks as it would have the IP block exemption user right. Looking here, I don't see that listed. You're able to edit your own user talk page, though, as you're not blocked and thus unaffected. Dmehus (talk) 19:25, 5 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Olipino Can you please try to unblock your alternate account now? Your main account should be unaffected by autoblocks following this Consul action I've made to the sysop user group. Dmehus (talk) 19:29, 5 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Dmehus, I could now unblock Olipino (alt2). -- Jusl¡t (talk) 19:36, 5 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Dmehus, and I am now unaffected by autoblock. -- Jusl¡t (talk) 19:42, 5 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Olipino Okay,  great. Dmehus (talk) 19:47, 5 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Your user right tests[edit]

Olipino, not like that. Even if you have bureaucrat rights, that doesn’t mean you can use them for whoever is hurting. I notice from the log (diff and diff) that you have added autopatrolled privileges to another user (which is system admin) and you have removed administrator privileges from another user (which is consul and Steward). Fortunately, you have reverted these changes. What I want to say is that under no circumstances should you grant or delete permissions in test purpose on other users unless there is an apparent need for it. You use the "test" in the summary, meaning that for testing purposes you may not add or remove rights other than to yourself. I hope you understand. Thanks. --Anton (talk) 11:54, 6 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Anton, thank you for guiding. I will be more careful from now on. -- Jusl¡t (talk) 13:15, 6 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Olipino  Great, thanks. --Anton (talk) 15:50, 6 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Your test blocks[edit]

Hi Juslit,

While I can appreciate this test block was likely made in good-faith and either (a) in error or, more likely, (b) with humour in mind, similar to Anton's advice to you here, you are strongly encouraged to perform test blocks only (a) yourself, (b) your alternate accounts, or (c) User:Example, with TestWiki:Testing policy in mind.

Thanks,
Dmehus (talk) 17:19, 20 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Dmehus, sorry if you don't liked my action. I was actually bored and I performed the action. In future, I'll be more careful! Thanks. –jusl¡t (talk) 17:29, 20 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Juslit  No problem. It was just a reminder. :) Dmehus (talk) 17:30, 20 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Dmehus, where can I get the id (logid) for the logs I performed? Juslit (talk) 17:58, 20 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Juslit, good question! You can either "change visibility" and get the logid from the URL, or you can call the links-in-logs scripts in either your common.js (this wiki) or global.js file (all Miraheze wikis). You can see my global.js file as an example. Dmehus (talk) 18:07, 20 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Dmehus, thanks! Juslit (talk) 18:21, 20 April 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
