- Requested group/permission: Sysop

- Done Please ensure you follow our policies, especially TestWiki:Testing policy and TestWiki:Main policy, reverting every test administrative action in the reverse order performed. As a best practice, test blocks should be done on User:Example or yourself. EPIC1 (talk) 17:46, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
Caimántriste (bureaucrat)
- Status: Done by EPIC1
- User: Caimántriste ( talk · contribs · deleted · logs · rights · CentralAuth )
- Requested group/permission: bureaucrat
- Reason for requesting: I am requesting access to the bureaucrat tools to test some more advanced functions, and I agree that in the event of egregious misuse of my bureaucrat tools, it may be revoked without prior warning.

- Done Please continue to make sure you are following all policies and know that bureaucrat is, ultimately, a more senior, trusted testing permission. Ultimately, Consuls are the de facto non-test administrators on TestWiki and they, together with the community at TestWiki:Community portal, guide this wiki. If granting permissions, please try and link to the diff page of the given user's request when granting rights, and only grant rights upon request. EPIC1 (talk) 18:38, 30 January 2024 (UTC)

- Hi there EPIC. In the future, please ensure that all policies are being complied with when approving rights. While Globe is a long-term user -- and thereby trusted -- codified policy is to wait 24 hours before granting bureaucrat after granting sysop. Again, in this case, no harm, but just a note for the future. Thanks! BrandonWM (talk - contribs) 03:29, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
- @BrandonWM: He was a former administrator and bureaucrat. --78Meow (Talk) 08:49, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
- Correct - in this case it was fine to grant both rights back as Globe had previously been a crat who was removed for inactivity. EPIC (talk) 11:42, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
- In the time I've spent on Miraheze, I've never seen policy upheld in that manner, in some cases I've seen consuls intervene with a reminder to not approve bureaucrat before 24h with sysop. If such policy has changed recently, I do apologize and would ask that you link to that page so I could study it and improve my knowledge base. Otherwise, general custom is to wait 24 hours.
