TestWiki:Request permissions

Request permissions on TestWiki Welcome to Miraheze's TestWiki! This page is for requesting testing permissions (Administrator/Bureaucrat) for TestWiki. Tips for a successful request: Be sure to replace Requested right with the actual user right you are requesting. You will see what we are referring to once you tap on the blue 'Request permissions' button at the bottom of this pink box. Important notes Make sure to read our policies before making any request, especially the main policy and the testing policy, and remember to revert and undo all your tests once you're done. Administrator user right may be granted to any logged in user, but it may also be revoked for inappropriate use. Bureaucrat user right will only be granted to a user who has been an administrator for 24 hours, who has at least 10 edits, and who has been deemed trustworthy. Specific user rights like CheckUser and Oversight will never be given, due to the access to sensitive private information. For confirmed user and autopatrolled rights, you can assign it to yourself if you are an administrator (though you can request those user groups here if you do not require and do not want the sysop tools). For consul rights, that should be requested at the community portal, and gain a clear community consensus for that right to be granted. Consul is a very high-trust role and is rarely granted.

@HeartsDo: Yeah, I remember that @Lois: was interested in doing translations and translation administration here, so I just granted her administrator as everything is included within that toolkit. We could have a translation administrators group, but my only real concern with that is we'd end up with a lot of unnecessary hat collecting. So, I think it's best just to have an administrator group for the time being. What do you think? Dmehus (talk) 14:48, 21 November 2020 (UTC)

@Dmehus: Me too, I am okay to say as administrator group is easily obtainable for omit to create a translation administrator group, I wanted just to be sure to see what is you think about this, so, thanks for have giving your point of view :).

@Sabelöga: Yeah, most policy pages is protected to bureaucrat level, if you want, I can give you bureacrat group for edit it because I don't see why we should not translate there pages (but if a consul have something to say 👀). HeartsDo (talk) 15:43, 21 November 2020 (UTC)

@HeartsDo: I'm fine with granting @Sabelöga: bureaucrat sooner than 24 hours, if he requests it in a separate request. As far as preparing those pages for translation, that was on my list of things to do, so I am fine with preparing those pages, and Sabelöga or you are as good as anyone to do it as you both add the Special:MyLanguage and tvar tags. Maybe wait a few minutes been preparing the pages, though, as the jobrunner seems to be a bit backlogged in jobs, though. Dmehus (talk) 15:51, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
